No public Las Vegas association or OEM seats dated Sep 29–Oct 5, 2026 were found. The Las Vegas Hands On HVAC campus shows an Oct 5 start but is by appointment only, so it is not counted as a public seat; NCI’s Las Vegas commercial air-balancing class begins Oct 6, outside this issue week.
What shop owners and office/ops can verify: EPA’s May 2026 final reconsideration removes the Jan 1, 2026 installation deadline for residential and light-commercial HVAC that uses R-410A, for equipment manufactured or imported before Jan 1, 2025, until existing supply is depleted. NAHB reports the rule effective July 27, 2026.
Still argued / contested (stated neutrally): Industry groups (including HARDI, PHCC, and ACCA) support the residential/light-commercial install-deadline relief but have challenged other portions of the same rule (especially extended timelines for certain commercial refrigeration applications). Courts — not this newsletter — will decide those pieces.
Nevada angle: No Nevada-specific override of the residential install relief was verified on the pages below. Confirm Nevada Contractor Board / local AHJ practice before quoting a hard install cutoff to customers. Keep A2L / R-454B / R-32 seat dates on the ops calendar when distributors publish them.
